Potomac Recreation Group (PRG) is a Virginia “C” corporation which was formed in April 2002, trading as Metro Golf Carts of the Potomac and later as Mid-Atlantic Scooters, Plus.
PRG was formed to quickly capitalize on the 2002 change in Virginia law that allowed the operation of golf carts within the town. We are strategically located in the center of Colonial Beach, the largest incorporated town in the Northern Neck. The Town of Colonial Beach was the first town in the Commonwealth to allow golf carts on public streets for use other than on golf courses. This privilege has now been extended to other communities in The Commonwealth.
Our primary business is the sale and rental of golf carts and related accessories.

PRG’s mission is to provide quality products and services to the Northern Neck of Virginia. We will focus on the retail sale of products and services that support the recreational and commercial needs of our target market, including but not limited to golf carts and scooters.
